The website is owned and operated by Shucaye Jewellery having its registered office at May Complex New No.18 & Old No.32, 3rd Floor, Ramasamy Street, T.Nagar, Chennai, India – 600017.
Annotation
Shucaye Jewellery shall henceforth be addressed as 'Shucaye Jewellery' or 'Shucaye' or 'The management' or 'The Jeweller' or 'The company' or 'Us' or 'We' or 'www.Shucaye.com'. 'Jewellery' or 'Jewels' defines any jewels customised, designed or pre-designed in precious metals like Gold, Platinum or Silver with or without stones or any precious elements. 'Stones' defines any and every kind of precious and semi precious stones including diamonds, emeralds, pearls etc. People (or customers) who use this website shall be defined as 'User', 'You', 'your' and 'Customer'; registered users can be defined as 'member' or 'registered member'. Any merchandise paid by the member when intended to be delivered to a different person at a different address shall be considered as 'Gift'.
User Agreement
Shucaye's policies are rules and guidelines that create and promote a safe and fair trading environment for all its customers. User Agreement is the predominant policy. All users or members are responsible for going over, understanding Shucaye's policies and all applicable laws and regulations of this contract and abiding by the same.
Amendments
The user agreement shall be inferred in accordance with the applicable and prevailing laws of India. The website policies follow the Government of India's amendment to Information Technology Amendment Act, 2008 (ITAA 2008) which focuses on Information Security, Cyber Terrorism and Data Protection. Sensitive Personal Information and Reasonable Security Practices mentioned in section 43A of ITAA, 2008 will be followed. Those who choose to use this website from abroad or outside of India are responsible for complying with the local laws. Shucaye currently ships within India and internationally. Shipping charges for international orders vary depending on the size of the package and the destination, and any applicable customs or duty charges are the customer's responsibility.
Eligibility Criteria
Any user who is deemed to be 'incompetent to contract' by the Indian Contract Act, 1872 is not eligible to use this website. Anyone who is below 18 years of age shall not be allowed to become a member or to use, purchase, or enter into a contract through the website of Shucaye Jewellery.
Registration Obligation
All the information provided by the users must be true, accurate, detailed, current and complete as required by the registration process of www.Shucaye.com. If the user provides any information that isn't in accordance with the above stated criteria, Shucaye has every right to cancel, suspend or terminate the membership and restrict access indefinitely.
Registration
Registration with www.Shucaye.com is made simple and easy with just a few steps and it is free of cost. Users must enter their personal information such as Name, Address and Phone number, as well as Date of Birth to verify age. Having a working email address is important as Shucaye uses it to notify about purchase confirmation, shipping, and payment details. You must accept the User Agreement and Privacy Policy to continue registration.
Tax and Value Added Charges
As per the current regulations of the Government of India, all jewels — be it Gold, Silver, Diamond, Platinum or any other precious metal — that are billed will fall within the scope of GST at 3%. The cost of a jewel includes the physical content of jewels, designing cost, and making charges along with wastages. These costs shall be referred to as 'Value Added Charges'.
Termination of Agreement
Shucaye reserves the right to terminate membership when any member violates the terms and conditions or privacy policy. Shucaye is not duty-bound to provide prior notice. Termination of membership shall not alter your obligation of any outstanding payment. A user may terminate their membership by writing to Shucaye. The request shall be processed in 7 to 10 business days.
Products Online
Shucaye takes care in providing elaborate information about the products displayed on the website. For more information, members can contact our customer care via email or toll-free number. We welcome your valuable feedback and suggestions.
Product Availability
The website may indicate availability of a product for sale by displaying its image. However, an unforeseen situation of non-availability may arise. In such a case, Shucaye Jewellery will endeavour to arrange it either from a third party or design it at any of its manufacturing units, and will communicate promptly via email or phone.
Photography
While Shucaye Jewellery exercises great care while photographing jewels and uploading them to the site, a minor deviation with respect to shade, design, or size due to factors such as lighting, reflection of stones, or camera quality cannot be ruled out. We hope the user is aware of these practical issues while placing the order.
Product Customisation
If a user requires a jewel exclusively designed by performing modifications in an existing design, they shall contact the sales or support team to know the possibility of customisation. Customisation is at the prerogative of Shucaye Jewellery and may take additional time. The buyer must bear the customisation cost fixed by the company.
Product Price
The product price is inclusive of the price of the material(s), designing or craftsmanship cost, making charges along with the wastage fee and tax component. All prices quoted and displayed on the website are in INR (Indian National Rupees). Prices of jewellery fluctuate in accordance with international metal market trends and the final price may be subject to minor variations. The price of gold displayed is the price announced by the Madras Jewellers & Diamond Merchants Association at Chennai for the relevant gold karat. Prices of diamonds and precious stones are subject to availability and market trends.
Confirmation of Order
An email will be sent to the member after the purchase is finalised with www.Shucaye.com. Users shall use this email as reference for their purchase.
Payments
Payment shall be made through UPI, credit card, debit card, or net banking. Payments can also be made in person at any of our stores. Shucaye shall not be responsible for intentional deception, fiddle or fraud of debit or credit card or internet banking by any third party. Shucaye reserves every right to undo any purchase process even after payment is made. In case of refund, the payment shall be credited to the user's account.
Lifetime Exchange
Customers can exchange jewels bought from us at any of our showrooms for a new jewel at 'appropriate price' for the old jewel. Shucaye shall solely determine the 'appropriate price' which includes the charge based on the prevailing market price of metals or stones.
Return, Exchange & Refund Policy
Shucaye strives to ensure the satisfaction of every customer. The process of return and exchange of products purchased online is designed to be as simple and user-friendly as possible. • Return before Delivery: If a customer prefers to return the product ordered before delivery, this shall be considered as 'Cancellation before Delivery'. • Return on Defects: Customers may return the delivered product if found to be defective upon arrival. This must be reported to Shucaye.com as 'Defective upon delivery' on the date of delivery itself, and the item must be unused. • Return on Dissatisfaction (15-day window): If the customer is not satisfied with the product after receiving it, they can return it within 15 days from the delivered date, subject to the following: (a) Product must be in same condition as delivered. (b) Products showing signs of wear, or that are engraved, altered, resized or damaged may not be accepted. (c) Customised jewels can be exchanged only at showrooms under 'Lifetime Exchange'. (d) Product invoice must be sent along with the returned jewel. (e) Once the return is confirmed, Shucaye will send a packaging cover through the courier agent. (f) The item must be packed in front of the courier agent. (g) For diamond earrings in gold or platinum, 94% of the diamond value is refunded; making charges are non-refundable. For diamond earrings in silver, 50% of the invoice value is refunded (MRP bill copy required). The return shipping cost is borne by the customer. Refunds are processed within 15 days, net of applicable bank transaction charges. • Terms for Exchange: Within 15 days of purchase, you can return the product for a credit and purchase the new product separately. If the exchange occurs after 15 days, making charges will be deducted from the refunded amount.
Repairs
In case the jewels bought need repair, they must be brought to any of the showrooms of Shucaye Jewellery. The customer must produce the invoice of the purchase. Customers must bear the repair charges as informed by Shucaye.
Insurance
Insurance is provided during the transit of every purchase. The insurance will be valid when the merchandise is dispatched and will be void the moment following delivery to the respective customer or beneficiary.
Shipping Policy
Shucaye provides secured shipping to customers for purchased orders both within India and internationally. Delivery is available in selected towns/cities. On demand, with an additional shipping charge, shipment can be made to other cities. The user must provide the full name, full address in detail, and contact number of the recipient. The estimated delivery time is 7 to 15 working days, subject to product availability. There may be some delay in certain cases, in which case the customer will be promptly communicated.
Cancellation Terms
Cancellation requests must be made before the order has been shipped. Once the order is dispatched, Shucaye Jewellery is unable to accept cancellations. Please contact us via our registered mobile number or email address as soon as possible for cancellation assistance.
Privacy Policy
Shucaye is committed to protecting your privacy. We collect personal information such as name, address, phone number, email address and date of birth to process orders, communicate with you, and improve our services. We use Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology to encrypt sensitive information during transmission. Your personal data will not be sold, rented or shared with third parties except as required by law or to process your transactions. Intellectual Property Rights

Unauthorised reproduction, distribution, or use of any content from this website is strictly prohibited.
Dispute Resolution
Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms & Conditions shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India. Shucaye Jewellery and the customer shall first attempt to resolve any dispute through good-faith negotiation before resorting to legal proceedings.
